Experience and Practice

Mr. O’Donovan joined the firm in 1984 after obtaining his law degree from Tulane University. He was born in England and spent his early childhood in South Africa before his family relocated to the United States. Mr. O’Donovan is a member of the firm’s oil pollution response team and has been involved in the handling of numerous oil spill incidents during his career. His maritime practice centers on cargo and property damage claims. He has been involved in the handling of a number of complex reinsurance and insurance coverage disputes, and also has extensive experience in the defense of toxic tort litigation involving environmental, asbestos and latex claims.
