Experience and Practice
Ms. Derbonne joined the firm in 2025 after obtaining her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where she served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and on the MentorSHIP Committee of the Maritime Law Society. Having earned her J.D. with a Certificate of Concentration in Maritime Law, Ms. Derbonne’s legal education provides a strong foundation in Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act matters, marine pollution, vessel charter agreements, and cargo claims.
